St. Ignatius Principle & Foundation

I found this principle when I studied in the high school. Since then this principle has guided me through my days. Here is the St. Ignatius Principle and Foundation.

"Man is created to praise, reverence, and serve God our Lord, and by this means to save his soul.
And the other things on the face of the earth are created for man and that they may help him in prosecuting the end for which he is created.
From this it follows that man is to use them as much as they help him on to his end, and ought to rid himself of them so far as they hinder him as to it.
For this it is necessary to make ourselves indifferent to all created things in all that is allowed to the choice of our free will and is not prohibited to it; so that, on our part, we want not health rather than sickness, riches rather than poverty, honor rather than dishonor, long rather than short life, and so in all the rest; desiring and choosing only what is most conducive for us to the end for which we are created."

Insomnia

Malem ini seperti beberapa malam Jum'at yang lalu, aku kembali susah tidur. Sebenernya sih bukan susah tidur, tepatnya males tidur. 'Penyakit' ini muncul semenjak 'my room mate' meninggalkan rumah ini, ke negeri seberang dua bulan yang lalu. (hi..sayang,..). Jadilah aku satu-satunya penghuni rumah ini. Daripada bengong nggak jelas, akhirnya aku nguprek lagi ini blog, yang udah lama aku tinggalin.
Mau nyoba up load foto, tapi kok lelet, banget. Males nungguinnya, lagian udah malem. Mau tidur aja, ah. Besok aja dicoba lagi.

Akhirnya ketemu lagi..

Setelah sekian lama absen, sampe lupa nama blog dan password-nya. Akhirnya aku bisa menemukan kembali nama blog-ku dan password-nya. Jadi..here I come...
Tapi berhubung udah malem, maka aku terpaksa untuk menangguhkan dulu keinginanku untuk kembali nulis-nulis di sini.

Imagine

Jogja

Tadi iseng-iseng jalan-jalan, eh ketemu angkringan. Jadi inget Jogja. Inget sama mbok penjual gudeg di perempatan Wirobrajan. Dulu kalau si mbok ini jadi penyelemat perutku yang keroncongan sehabis keluyuran malem. Sebelum pulang ke kost aku biasa mampir buat beli gudeg, berhubung anak kost menunya ya paling gudeg suwir, gudeg telor atau favoritku gudeg saren. Ditambah, sambel kerecek plus kuah yang putih dari santan (apa ya namanya..?). Wah, nikmat....
